What are you doing on Thursday, May 13, 2010? More than likely Private Practice is going to be a rerun and you’re personal trainer is headed to Spring Training with her husband so if you’re in North Carolina and you want something fresh and exciting to do, I suggest meeting me at “Girls Night Out – A Night of Glamour & Giving” in Uptown Charlotte.
This is a silent auction and upscale fashion show event to benefit the brand new Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte. Funds raised during the evening ensure any family needing to stay at the house will not have to pay for anything while they’re in Charlotte getting medical care for their seriously ill or injured child. There’s no fee for the families to stay at the house but it costs about $85/night per family just to run it. The new house is scheduled to open in Charlotte in 2010 and will be a 35,000sq.ft., 28-bedroom home so you know it’ll house many families.
